Welcome to Blue Mind Sailing Charters on San Francisco Bay aboard the 35 ft pilothouse sloop, the SV Blue Anima, skippered by USCG 100 ton licensed captain Tim Blair.
Experience our offering of San Francisco sailing events, from sightseeing sailing to sail instruction, corporate and other group team building, group reunions, stress resiliency and recovery sailing, Blue Mind meditative retreat sailing events and memorial ash spreading in the sea.

What makes sailing with us unique
Our primary program teaches sailing skills and knowledge. But our greater goal is to share the joy of sailing out in the natural world of wind, sea and sky to bring our guests sailor’s joy and inspiration, well being, and renewal. We strive to offer through sailing a bit of life balance to help in our hectic modern lives on land. We want you and your group to experience the benefits of what some call the Blue Mind during your San Francisco Bay adventures. This is the innate affinity and attraction of humans to water, whether we are on it, in it, around it, or on the edge of it, be it any lake, river, and especially the ocean. The water has profound effects on overall health and wellbeing which have been widely researched by psychologists and neuroscientists. This Blue Mind most effectively can be shared through the group experience of sailing on a boat.
We Worked With
Along other sailing and leadership coaches we have worked with navy and air force veterans, fire fighters and other people struggling due to trauma, PTSD.
Our non-profit organization transformationalsailing.org is helping veterans heal through sailing and camaraderie, 10% of profits from boat charters go to offer sliding scale fees to those who need it. Donations support veterans and others suffering from PTSD and needing recovery. This program helps make this possible.
Through our network of boat charter company associates, we can coordinate additional vessels in various sizes and locations, including vacation destinations, to meet our clients’ needs.

The Club having military heritage has a strong tradition of camaraderie. As a member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yachting Association enjoys membership benefits with other Bay Area yacht clubs.
New Boat
Targa 9.6 with a 32 ft sloop, center cockpit and aft cabin. The boat will be ready to charter by August 2025.
